My Invisalign (invisible braces) has just been completed and I couldn't be happier. Dr.Vaysman & assistants did an excellent job. The process was completely painless and nobody knew I even had braces. As a business executive, this was critical to me. I now have perfectly straight teeth after many years of wishing it was so. In New York convenience is everything and this practice is right next to the 4 & 5 express subway stop. My appointments were also always on time which really helped. I originally had a different Orthodontist but I wasn't happy with her as she was always in rush. Long story short, she quit and Dr. Vaysman took over my treatment. Well...I was soooo happy with this. She is very sweet and very professional. Since I'm crazy neurotic person as I wash my hands at least 5 times a day and I have lots of curiosity, she was perfect and reliable to me. Every time when I asked her about my teeth (since I had lots of problem) she answered me with great explanations and never lied or try to avoid to answer. She will tell you black or white and no grey in her treatment. I trusted her very much and since braces are not cheap, when you drop close to 10K, you should be happy with your Doctor. They have to understand why you decided to have braces even if you are not from America like me and have an strong accent, she will still be very patient and listen to you. Whenever I walk in, it feels like home. I almost want to find an excuse to come in and say "hi" whenever I'm in the area, because the staff is so nice.

Here are some of my favorite things about this place:

1. The waiting room is warm and cozy, with free bottles of diet soft drinks and water. In the bathroom, there are free toothbrushes. She helps out her patients a lot. Just recently, Dr. Vaysman started a "Show us your smile" competition, and is giving one of her clients a free I-Pad. AMAZING.

2. I've only had to wait 5 minutes tops to see Dr. Vaysman for an appointment in the past two years.

3. There are flat screens and high tech equipment all over her office.

4. It's very clean and cozy.

5. I see the fancy Upper East Siders with their brace-faced children in the office, and I want to get my teeth done by the same orthodontist!! ha ha

Let's go back to how much of a mess I was, when I first came into her office. Having just moved to the city, I was broke with an Invisalign procedure halfway completed, as I had moved from Miami where I had worked with "the best orthodontist in the city." No names, but his office is in the beautiful Coral Gables area and its very fancy. He offered to keep sending me the Invisalign trays while I was here in New York, but it didn't end well. With this procedure, an orthodontist needs to monitor it closely to make sure the trays are still fitting the teeth, so that they actually move.

Long story short, he probably just wanted my money and the Invisalign trays weren't working. They were moving, but my teeth weren't. Disgruntled and bitter, I arrived at Dr. Vaysman's office, not expecting much of a difference. They fixed everything, and reordered a new set of trays to start the procedure over, the right way.

I began paying monthly, interest free, after my first visit. The first visit is free. Don't cancel it though, because they'll charge you!

They are always able to accommodate an appointment, sometimes even late in the evenings. I like that she's very smart and knows what she's doing, but so does her staff, and they all truly care for the patients.

After two years, with both braces and Invisalign, I am happy to say that my teeth are looking good thanks to her, and I still get to go back as they monitor my retainers and make sure everything is still going well.

As I said before, Dr. Vaysman and her staff are extraordinary, and professional. They all truly care for their patients.

Just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Vaysman. Couldn't be happier with the doctor, the staff, and the results. Appointments were easy to book, location - convenient, wait time in the office less than 5 minutes, and of course Dr Vaysman's professionalism and friendly attitude made all the difference. The whole experience was very pleasant and the 1.5 years went by very quickly. I found Dr Vaysman on the internet and took a chance by using her services. I just have to start off by saying, I love Dr. Vaysman, Maryann, Indira, and the rest of the staff @ UESO! I am so pleased with my results, I am speechless. Dr. Vaysman did a stellar job! Dr. Vaysman projected my treatment time to be 10 months or so, and I was done in 11 (add an additional month for the retainer to be completed). I wore ceramic braces, visited Dr. Vaysman's office every 6 weeks, and I WORE my bands!! Please, this is key! You must follow any and all instructions in order to ensure timely completion and satisfactory results. Lastly, you must wear your retainer. I had my braces removed today @ 11:00 a.m., and the first time I removed my retainer was to eat @ 4:00 p.m. Then, I brushed and put the retainer right back in. I've had a great experience here. I was unsure if, as an adult, I wanted to spend the money and make the commitment toward fixing my smile -- it wasn't awful, but my teeth had shifted and I was becoming self-conscious.

In short, I had a great experience with clear braces; a very low-maintenance relationship with them (the braces) and the office, and I am loving my newly straightened teeth.

And I did it for under $5k. I saw 4-5 orthodontists and cosmetic dentists, some of whom wanted $12k for essentially the same plan.

I have had orthodontic treatment as a child, but unfortunately my teeth didn't quite stay at the right place and started moving again. I went to a couple of orthodontists in Manhattan and asked for advice, and Upper Eastside Orthodontists made the best impression by far.

Dr. Vaysman did not try to pressure me into an immediate decision (like some others tried to). She spend a reasonable amount of her own time with me (rather than ferrying me from assistant to assistant) and the atmosphere was very friendly.

I went for a treatment with Invisalign and the result is impeccable. The duration of the treatment (~10 months) was just as she estimated at the beginning. The amount that I paid was also significantly less then what others had quoted for the same treatment.

I especially liked the fact that I my appointments were almost always without any significant waiting time, even if I was arriving a bit too late or too early.

To put it in a nutshell: if you are considering orthodontic treatment, you should definitely pay them a visit.

I've had an amazing experience at Upper East Orthodontist. I found Dr. Vaysman through Face book one night when I was browsing my Face book page. And I thought I give it a try, I filled out a short survey and I was immediately contacted the next day. I have had orthodontic treatment when I was in my teens, unfortunately as a teen I never really took care of my teeth and they shifted back. Now, as an adult I regret not taking care of my teeth and I was unsure if I could receive orthodontic treatment again, but Dr. Vaysman was very reassuring and told me that I would be able to receive orthodontic treatment. Which I was very happy to hear. Dr. Vaysman and her staff are very friendly; they always have a smile on their faces when I go for monthly appts. I've had my braces for about 1 yr and 7 months, and I just got them off this past Monday (11-29-2010). And I love the final result, my teeth looked amazing!!! I was very happy and satisfied. After having braces as a teenager - and having my teeth shift later in life, I knew I wanted to have straight teeth again, but was very nervous about going through the experience as an adult. Lucky for me I found Dr. Vaysman through an online search. During my initial consultation, she explained all my options, without putting on any pressure to seek her services. I ended up choosing Invisalign braces and loved the experience. They were comfortable to wear - and having a professional job, no one ever noticed - which was awesome. It was nice to be able to take them off when I would eat, so nothing could get stuck in my teeth. Also, if I went to a formal event, I could remove them all together just for the evening (which I would never have been able to do with traditional braces) The best part was that the entire experience only took a year!

I had a problem with my bite and my teeth were getting more out of line as I got older. Dr Vaysman did a thorough examination of my teeth and my bite and then took her time to explain to me exactly what the problem areas were and how they could be fixed. Even though having braces cannot be described as a fun experience, Dr Vaysman and staff did everything they could to make it a worthwhile one. I am very happy with my results. I must mention the staff - Maryann the receptionist is always friendly and Indira, Dr. Vaysman's assistant, is just the best. She always gave great advice for dealing with your braces and is just the nicest person you'll meet. The whole team works together well and they provide a great service.

After contemplating for a few years, I finally decided on orthodontic treatment at the age of 25! I saw several orthodontists but decided to settle on Dr Vaysman as she had the most experience dealing with adult orthodontics and was surprisingly less expensive than orthodontists I saw in the outer boroughs. I also really liked her warm personality and honesty. My case was difficult and involved jaw surgery. Dr Vaysman worked closely with my surgeon, who she had worked with in the past, to accomplish the final results.
She is very gentle and understanding, as are her assistants. The office is modern and very welcoming and comfortable as well - makes you feel at ease.I should also say that she is very accommodating - I was able to come in very early in the morning (8am) or late int he day (6pm) which allowed me not to miss work.

The day I got my braces off, I believe she was due to give birth in 2 weeks and was still working!

At the older age of 24 I finally decided I’ve had enough and will get braces. I went online and Dr. Vaysman was at the top of my search. I went to Dr. Vaysman's office after reading a lot of users' reviews. From the consultation, putting up braces, regular check-up to removing my braces, I have to say the whole 2 year experience is just wonderful with Dr. Vaysman! Dr. Vaysman is professional and patient. She'll walk you through your status and what are the next steps during every visit and answer all of your concerns or questions in details. Her staffs there are also very nice.
I didn't encounter too much pain during these 2 years of wearing braces and the rubber bands later in the treatment. Dr. Vaysman and her staff always make sure the wire won't poke me or make me uncomfortable. They also provided detailed instruction or recommendations on how to reduce the pain if there's any. My braces broke once accidentally, I didn't need to make another appointment and wait for couple days. I only made a call and then went back to the office in the next day to get it fixed right away. The whole process just makes me feel that I don't need to worry too much and can totally reply on them.

I do not know where to begin. I had my braces removed a little over two weeks ago after a year and a half and I still can't believe how amazing my teeth look! I owe it all to Dr. Vaysman and her staff.
From the start she told me the process would take about a year and a half and she was right on the money.
I had braces as a child and I do not remember it being like this. Dr. Vaysman explained everything and never made me feel like my questions where too small. I remember calling during non-office hours and Dr. Vaysman answered herself!
Gloria and Indira where always friendly and very knowledgeable. They always gave great advice on how to deal with braces and they actually made getting impressions a pleasant experience. (I always hated them as a child!).

I came to Dr. V for Invisalign and it was the best decision I ever made! After 1.5 years of wearing Invisalign I can't believe how much better my teeth look. Dr. V was honest with me from the stars in terms of how long it was going to take and what my results would look like -- she was spot on about everything. Also, the office itself was incredibly professional and clean, which to me were the 2 most important criteria in finding the right doctor. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. V also responds quickly to any questions -- in fact you can email her and gets back to you asap. I've never had that experience with a doctor and I must say I really appreciated it! Dr. Vaysman is the first doctor I found and without doing further research, just made an appointment with her for Invisalign. It went really well. I was nervous throughout the consultation, but she was honest, and recommended adult braces since it’s a shorter time, and would work out better for my teeth. After year and half of wearing adult braces, my teeth look great!! She has great judgment skills and always right. She is a great doctor for both adult and kids, and the staff is great too. I had braces as a kid and endured the humilation of 7 years of headgears, orthondontia and retainers, after being nicknamed "rabbit" because of my buck teeth. Imagine my horror when the two front teeth began making a pass at each other and slowyly began to cross over and become rabbit-like again! After all that orthondontia work, my smile should have been perfect. But, no, there it was, right in the middle of my face looking all rabbit-ish. Not only that, my bite had somehow shifted so my teeth hurt all the time from them not being aligned. I began searching for an orthondontist. I researched and researched and could not find anyone that I would feel comfrotable with. I read online reviews, looked at yelp, asked around. This went on for literally five years. When I finally found Dr. Vaysman, I felt I struck gold. Beginning from my first appointment, she and her very knowledgable, all star team, made the process of getting invisalign completely enjoyable and painless. A year later, I now have my shining smile back and I simply could not be happier. I only wish I had done it sooner, but sometimes it takes that long to find the right one. The treatment I received at Dr Vaysman's hands has been highly professional and exceptionally competent. My experience with her practice has been stellar from start to finish, and I highly recommend her to anyone.

After a year and a half of invisalign treatment my teeth are now just perfect. I wish I had done it sooner. There is a natural hurdle to getting started, but five minutes into my first appointment it was clear to me that I was in excellent hands.

Her staff were incredibly welcoming each time and knew my name from the very beginning. They patiently answered all my questions even in the later stages of the treatment. In addition, Dr Vaysman herself was available to respond to questions by email, and very rapidly at that.

Crazy as this may sound, I actually looked forward to my appointments each time. The practice's waiting area is pleasant and even better, I never actually had to wait!

For job reasons I moved away from New York City during my treatment, which complicated things a bit. But Dr Vaysman was very flexible and several times went out of her way to accommodate my personal circumstances.

Finally, the payment plan is completely transparent, and there were no unexpected charges later on in the treatment. I got exactly what I was told during the first appointment, and couldn't be happier with the results.

I went to Dr. Vaysman in June 2011 for a consultation since she received such great reviews on Yelp, she also took my insurance, and was offering a Yelp Discount.

Having had braces back in the dark ages, I had vowed never to have them again, but a crown on one of teeth next to my front tooth had been placed in such a manner that one of my front teeth had begun to move in an unflattering direction and the others seemed to be following. I thought that I would just get a retainer or something to attempt to stop the movement.

Dr. Vaysman has a modern and ample office. She and her Staff are professional and friendly. The Staff is helpful and responsive - especially nice when dealing with persnickety Flexible Spending Reimbursement Providers. I have never waited more than 5 minutes for an appointment.

The options were outlined by Dr. Vaysman (not a staff member) complete with pricing and financing options, if needed. I relented and got braces again - this time Invisalign. The Invisalign have made orthodontia nearly pain free and as a professional myself, I do not feel uncomfortable wearing them all the time - virtually no one knows. I am more than 2/3rds through my treatment and the difference is absolutely remarkable. I will finish within the time estimated.

I felt confident in Dr. Vaysman since the beginning, but wanted to wait at least six months before posting a review. I highly recommend Dr. Vaysman and Upper Eastside Orthodontist's Staff.
